I have recently moved to New Zealand from Vancouver, Canada, to start a family with my Kiwi wife of eight years. My wife Ella and I have just finished four seasons on the TV series Battlestar Galactica.

After 10 years in film I bring with me great communication skills, an understanding of budgets, time constraints, finishes as well innovative ideas.  Having so much creative experience means I can turn my hand to anything. I am positive I can be an asset to any production big or small.

I have worked in the entertainment industry for most of my life. As a young teen I joined by older brothers band moving gear, setting lights, and monitoring sound. This sparked an interest in light, sound and stage and I went on to work with many bands.

The experience I gained, mixed with Art College, video production courses and art performance work shops all played an invaluable role and led to my involvement with dance and theatre , firstly as a Technician and then Lighting Designer and Technical Director.During this period I also took calls with the Vancouver Theater Union, IATSE 118. I worked calls on rock shows as big as The Rolling Stones and theatre productions like Phantom of the Opera.

It was my scenic paint calls in theatre that naturally guided my next step, the film industry. I started in film in IATSE 891 as scenic painter, wall paper hanger and plasterer. My theater work ethic combined with my scenic talents quickly shot me into the positions of scenic artist, paint lead, paint foreman and head painter and I am recognized in these positions by the film union.
